Und wieder etwas Rockiges aus dem hohen Norden. Erneut Rockmusik aus Schweden. Man könnte schon beinah sagen alter Schwede, aber so alt sind die Herren von Grande Royale noch gar nicht. Heute erscheint das mittlerweile siebte Album der schwedische Garage Rocker, die ihr Debüt 2014 ablieferten. Seither sind die Herren die sich ganz klar dem 70’er Jahre Rock verschrieben haben, fleißig am Produzieren und sich selbst zu präsentieren. Denn Live können sich die Herren auch sehen und hören lassen. 2023 mit neuem Gitarrist/Sänger am Start zeigen sie auf ihrem neuen Werk, Welcome to Grime Town, ziemlich eindrucksvoll wo ihre Stärken liegen und liefern ein verdammt starkes und eingängiges Album ab, welches vom ersten bis zum letzten Ton zum Feiern einlädt und richtig Spaß macht. Wer also auf richtig coolen Rock steht dem seien die zwölf brandneuen Tracks wärmstens empfohlen. Stellenweise erinnern mich die Herren an Bands wie Poison oder die guten alten Ratt Also ich muss zugeben, dass ich lange kein Album mehr vor mir liegen hatte welches mich sofort überzeugen konnte. Das Besondere an dieser Formation, und auch am hier präsentiertem Werk ist, das hier tatsächlich jedes Bandmitglied neben seinem Instrument auch den Gesang übernimmt. Somit klingt jeder Song noch einmal mehr anders. Bei Grande Royale geht echt die Post ab. Schon allein deshalb erhält das neue Album zehn von zehn möglichen Punkten und wird euch liebe Hörer wärmstens empfohlen. Rock on!!!
And again something rocky from the far north. Again rock music from Sweden. You could almost say old Swede, but the gentlemen of Grande Royale are not that old. The Swedish garage rockers, who made their debut in 2014, have released their seventh album today. Since then, the gentlemen who have clearly dedicated themselves to 70's rock have been busy producing and presenting themselves. The gentlemen can also see and hear the live performance. 2023 with a new guitarist/singer at the start, they show quite impressively where their strengths lie on their new work, Welcome to Grime Town, and deliver a damn strong and catchy album, which invites you to celebrate from the first to the last note and is really fun. So if you like really cool rock, the twelve brand new tracks are warmly recommended. Sometimes the guys remind me of bands like Poison or the good old Ratt. So I have to admit that I haven't had an album in front of me for a long time that could convince me immediately. The special thing about this formation, and also about the work presented here, is that each band member actually takes on the singing in addition to his instrument. So every song sounds even more different. At Grande Royale, things really get going. For this reason alone the new album receives ten out of ten possible points and is warmly recommended to you dear listeners. rock on!!!
