ANGUS McSIX kehrt zurück aus dem Reich des Todes – stärker als jemals zuvor!
Nach Prinz Angus' heldenhaftem Tod in der größten Schlacht, die je ein Mensch oder Goblin gesehen hatte, schien alle Hoffnung für Schottland und die Galaxis dahin. Im Reich der Märtyrer sind die Geschehnisse für Angus wie ein verschwommener Traum aus ferner Vergangenheit verblasst. Doch als er plötzlich daran erinnert wird, dass seine Heimat bedroht wird, macht sich der Prinz auf, in die Welt der Lebenden zurückzukehren.
Der einzige Weg führt dabei durch ein Portal in den Tiefen der Hölle, das durch das allmächtige Schwert Sixcalibur versiegelt ist. Als Angus die Klinge zieht, erfährt er ein fundamentales Upgrade und verwandelt sich in den goldenen Helden ANGUS McSIX, der den Fängen der Unterwelt entkommt! Gewillt, seinen alten Widersacher erneut zu bezwingen, ahnt Angus nicht, dass er soeben einer viel dunkleren Macht das Tor zurück zur Welt der Lebenden geöffnet hat: Erzdämon Seebulon – Ursprung alles Bösen (Sebastian "Seeb" Levermann, Orden Ogan).
Das erste Kapitel der glorreichen Rückkehr des schottischen Helden ist auf dem Debütalbum ANGUS McSIX and the Sword of Power zu hören, das am 21. April 2023, exklusiv über Napalm Records erscheint.
Was verbirgt sich hinter dieser fantastischen Erzählung unserer Kollegen von Napalm Records?
Nun die Frage sollte nicht lauten, was, sondern wohl eher wer? Diese Frage ist ziemlich schnell beantwortet. Es handelt sich hierbei um Thomas Winkler. Nun werden einige fragen, „Ok, und wer zur Hölle ist bitte, Thomas Winkler?“ Er ist ein aus der Schweiz stammender ex Metal Sänger der Band Emerald. Seinen Bekanntheitsgrad erhielt er allerdings erst 2012 mit seinem Einstieg als Sänger und Frontman der Formation Gloryhammer, bei der er bis ins Jahr 2021 genau diesen Posten belegte. Nun nach seinem Ausstieg bei Gloryhammer meldet sich der Ausnahme Sänger mit seinem neuen Projekt zurück. Und dies tut er gleich in mehrfacher Hinsicht sehr eindrucksvoll. Zum einen mit der Geschichte hinter seinem neuen Projekt, die ihr liebe Leser bereits am Anfang dieses Berichtes zu lesen bekamt. Zum anderen, kann der Mann verdammt gut singen und hat sich eine wirklich beeindruckende Mannschaft gesucht, mit der er den Erstling sehr beeindruckend präsentiert. So muss Powermetal! Treibende Riffs und Drums. Eine spannende Story und der richtige Rhythmus. Na da darf man gespannt sein, was uns mit dieser neuen Formation erwartet.
Für den Anfang muss ich sagen, haben sie schon mal ein sehr schönes Brett mit insgesamt zwölf Nummern hingelegt, die zur Party und abfeiern einladen. Danke dafür und sehr gern weiter so.

What is behind this fantastic narration from our colleagues at Napalm Records? Now the question should not be what, but rather who? This question is answered fairly quickly. This is Thomas Winkler. Now some will ask, "Ok, and who the hell is it Thomas Winkler?" He is a Swiss-born ex-Metal singer of the band Emerald. However, he only became well known in 2012 when he joined the Gloryhammer formation as a singer and frontman, where he held exactly this position until 2021. Now that he left Gloryhammer, the exceptional singer is back with his new project. And he does so very impressively in several respects. On the one hand with the story behind his new project, which you dear readers got to read at the beginning of this report. On the other hand, the man can sing damn well and has found a really impressive team, with whom he presents the debut very impressively. That's how power metal has to be! Driving riffs and drums. An exciting story and the right rhythm. Well, it will be interesting to see what awaits us with this new formation. For starters, I have to say that they have already put down a very nice board with a total of twelve numbers that invite you to party and celebrate. Thanks for that and I'd love to keep it up.
