Ich persönlich stehe ja unter anderem auf guten Industrial Metal, besonders dann wenn die Mischung aus Industrial und Metal stimmt. Bei der 2015 in Italien gegründeten Formation, Death 2 Pigs (nicht zu verwechseln mit der US Punk Band) fügt sich genau dies bestens zusammen. Harte Riffs mit elektronischer Unterstützung. Coole treibende Rhythmen, so wie ein wechselnder Gesang zwischen gefühlvoll melodisch und aggressiv voll aufs “Maul”. Die Formation, bestehend aus vier Musikern, ist besonders in Italien als Live Band bekannt. So hat man, “leider”, bisher nur eine kleine EP mit dem Namen, eMpTyV, im Jahre 2017, veröffentlicht. Nach der vielen Zeit nun live auf den Brettern die die Welt bedeuten, möchte sich die Band einem größeren Publikum präsentieren. Dies geht natürlich am besten, indem man sich auf einem neuen Tonträger verewigt. Gedacht, getan. So kam am 12. April dieses Jahres das Mini Album, The Beast is yet to come, auf den Markt. Da die Formation, wie bereits berichtet bisher nur wenig bekannt ist, wand man sich unter anderem an uns, damit wir die Botschaft von der Exzistenz dieser vier Musiker als Band unter dem Namen, Death 2 Pigs, hinaus in die Welt der dunklen Musik-Szene tragen. Da uns das bisherige Schaffen gefällt sind wir dazu sehr gern bereit.
Inhaltlich, ist was, Death 2 Pigs, als Botschaft verbreiten, am besten mit ihren eigenen Worten zu beschreiben….
So erzählt Frontman und Sänger Tiffie Toffee Tee folgendes dazu :
“Man stelle sich eine Zeitlinie vor, die von der Geburt des Menschen bis in eine noch unbekannte Zukunft reicht, entlang derer sich historische, filmische, Science-Fiction- und literarische Elemente verflechten und einen unheilvollen Schlüssel zum Verständnis offenbaren: die bittere Wahrheit ist, dass die Menschen zyklisch die gleichen Fehler wiederholen. Ganz gleich, wie Kriege, Vorurteile und Heuchelei die Welt bereits verwüstet haben, wir werden nie aus der Vergangenheit lernen.
„The Beast is yet to Come“ ist eine 6-Track-EP, die sich mit der menschlichen Brutalität auseinandersetzt. Es ist eine krude Darstellung der Realität, in der diejenigen, die versuchen, ihr Wesen zu verleugnen, am Ende mit der inneren Bestie konfrontiert werden.”
Wir denken, viel mehr ist hierzu nicht zu sagen und geben eine Empfehlung heraus, die darauf abzielt, das genug Hörer sich dieses kleine Werk einmal anhören und die Künde über selbiges weiter tragen mögen.

Personally, I like good industrial metal, especially when the mix of industrial and metal is right. This is exactly what Death 2 Pigs (not to be confused with the US punk band), which was founded in Italy in 2015, combines perfectly. Hard riffs with electronic support. Cool, driving rhythms, as well as alternating vocals between soulfully melodic and aggressively full on. The formation, consisting of four musicians, is particularly well known in Italy as a live band. So far, “unfortunately”, they have only released a small EP called eMpTyV in 2017. After all this time live on the boards that mean the world, the band would now like to present themselves to a larger audience. Of course, the best way to do this is to immortalize themselves on a new recording. Thought, done. The mini album, The Beast is yet to come, was released on April 12th of this year. As the formation is, as previously reported, only little known, they turned to us, among others, to carry the message of the existence of these four musicians as a band under the name, Death 2 Pigs, out into the world of the dark music scene. Since we like their work so far, we are very happy to do so.
In terms of content, Death 2 Pigs' message is best described in their own words....
Frontman and singer Tiffie Toffee Tee tells us the following:
“Imagine a timeline stretching from the birth of man to a yet unknown future, along which historical, cinematic, science fiction and literary elements intertwine to reveal an ominous key to understanding: the bitter truth is that humans cyclically repeat the same mistakes. No matter how wars, prejudice and hypocrisy have already ravaged the world, we will never learn from the past.
“The Beast is yet to Come” is a 6-track EP that explores human brutality. It's a crude depiction of reality, where those who try to deny their essence end up facing the beast within.”
We don't think there's much more to say about this and are issuing a recommendation aimed at ensuring that enough listeners give this little work a listen and spread the word about it.
