So ein Jubiläum ist doch immer eine verdammt schöne Sache. Gerade wir vom Streetteam Berlin können da ein Lied von singen. Und wo wir schon mal beim Singen sind… da kommt tatsächlich noch ein verdammt wichtiges Jubiläum auf uns/euch zu. Fünfundzwanzig, in Zahlen 25, Jahre Tanzwut. 25 Jahre Mittelalter-Rock in reinster Form. Und was hat der Teufel höchstpersönlich alles in diesen 25 Jahren auf die Hufe gestellt. Angefangen mit der ersten Formation aus Kollegen und Mitstreitern der Mittelalter Formation, Corvus Corax, bis in die heutigen Tage Mittelalter Musik gepaart mit Rock. Eine verdammt gute Mischung. Bisher veröffentlichte man unter dem Namen Tanzwut ganze 13 Alben. Darunter zwei Mittelalter Alben und ein Live Album. Es gibt bisher 20 Singles, ein Hörbuch zu dem Tanzwut Ableger Theatrum Diaboli-Tanzwut Marionettentheater und gar ein Solo Album unter dem Band Namen Teufel. Auch die Band Formation Teufel bestand zu ihrer Zeit komplett aus den Musikern von der damaligen tanzwut-Besetzung und darf somit gern in Bezug auf Tanzwut genannt werden. Tja, liebe Leser und Hörer. 25 Jahre Durchdrehen auf Tonträger, vielen Videos und unzähligen Konzerten in Deutschland, Teilen Europas und gar im schönen Russland. Genauso viele unvergessliche Hits und Gassenhauer hat diese Band fabriziert und mit uns gefeiert. Und das feiern soll nun nach 25 Jahren erst so richtig beginnen. 25 Jahre wenn das kein Grund ist, was dann? Und da der Teufel sich bekanntlich nicht lumpen lässt, begeht er sein Jubiläum zusammen mit allen Tanzwütigen mit der Veröffentlichung eines neuen Albums. 25 Jahre bedeutet Silberne Hochzeit. Und genau so nennt man nun das am 24.2.2023 erscheinende Album. Es werden 12 „neue“ Nummern präsentiert. Neu? Nun nicht Neu im Sinne von bisher nie gehört oder gespielt, nein, neu eingespielt, produziert, gemastert und aufgenommen. Das heißt ihr bekommt 12 Songs die ihr alle kennt und liebt, verpackt in einem völlig neuen Soundgewand. Als Beispiel sein hier nur Labyrinth der Sinne, Ihr wolltet Spaß, Meer, Der Wächter und Lügner genannt. Aber auch die übrigen Songs werden kein Tanzwut Herz verblassen lassen. So kommt herbei und erwerbt dieses edle Stück und feiert, tanzt und dreht richtig durch auf das der Teufel noch viele Jahre mehr uns mit seiner Musik und Kunst beglücken mag und uns weiter mit der Tanzwut infiziert.
An anniversary is always a damn nice thing. We at Streetteam Berlin in particular can sing a song about that. And while we're on the subject of singing... there's still a damn important anniversary coming up. Twenty-five, in numbers 25, years of dancing madness. 25 years of medieval rock in its purest form. And what has the devil himself done in these 25 years? Starting with the first formation of colleagues and comrades-in-arms of the medieval formation, Corvus Corax, to this day medieval music paired with rock. A damn good mix. So far, 13 albums have been released under the Tanzwut name. Including two medieval albums and a live album. So far there are 20 singles, an audio book for the Tanzwut offshoot Theatrum Diaboli-Tanzwut Marionette Theater and even a solo album under the band name Teufel. The band Formation Teufel also consisted entirely of the musicians from the tanzwut line-up at the time and can therefore be named in relation to Tanzwut. Well, dear readers and listeners. 25 years of going crazy on recordings, many videos and countless concerts in Germany, parts of Europe and even in beautiful Russia. This band has produced just as many unforgettable hits and hits and celebrated with us. And now, after 25 years, the celebrations are only just beginning. 25 years if that's not a reason, then what is? And since the devil is not known to be stingy, he celebrates his anniversary together with all dance lovers by releasing a new album. 25 years means silver wedding. And that's exactly what the album, which will be released on February 24th, 2023, is called. 12 “new” numbers will be presented. New? Well, not new in the sense of never heard or played before, no, newly recorded, produced, mastered and recorded. That means you get 12 songs that you all know and love, packed in a completely new sound. As an example here only Labyrinth der Sinne, Ihr wolltet Spaß, Meer, Der Wächter and Lügner are named. But the other songs won't let a dance frenzy heart fade either. So come and buy this noble piece and celebrate, dance and go really crazy so that the devil may continue to delight us with his music and art for many years to come and continue to infect us with the dance frenzy.
