Ihr seid Fans des klassischen New Wave of British Heavy Metal? Ihr mögt Judas Priest in seiner Reinkultur? Na dann ist das was jetzt kommt genau das Richtige für euch. Der einzige Priest’er, der sich tatsächlich als solcher bezeichnen darf, schließlich war er Gründungsmitglied in den 70’er Jahren, und mittlerweile selbst gar nicht mehr oder zur Zeit hier und da mal als Gast bei der NWoBHM Legende diente, meldet sich mit seinem Solo Projekt welches er nach seinem Weggang bei seiner „Hauptband“ gründete, zurück. Hat bereits das Debüt, Sermons oft he Sinner, 2021, mehr als überzeugt, und ganz klar aufgezeigt wer hier wie gesagt der Priest’er ist, so kommt mit dem Nachfolger ein echter Hammer. Erneut ist, ebenfalls Ex Judas Priest Mitglied, wenn auch selbiger nie einen Rob Halford in selbiger Band tatsächlich ersetzen konnte, Tim Ripper Owens tatkräftig am Mikrophon unterwegs. Die Rede ist natürlich, ihr habt es selbstverständlich längst erraten, von KK‘s Priest. Nun liebe Leser und Fans, sie sind zurück und servieren euch und uns genau das was wir erwarten. Purer Heavy Metal. Voll auf die Zwölf. The Sinner Rides Again, so der Name des neuen Werkes, welches mit neun, Nigel Nagel Neuen Songs aufwartet und jedes gewillte Metalohr erfreuen wird. Zu hören sind die gewohnten schrillen, ins Fleisch schneidenden Gitarren Riffs, eines KK Downing. Der durchdringende Gesang eines Tim Ripper Owens. Und die treibenden Rhythmen der anderen Bandmitglieder. Mal Rasiermesserscharf dann bedrohlich donnernd. So klingt nur KK’s Priest. Mit jedem Song setzen sofort die Vergleiche zum großen „Bruder“ ein, was der Sache an sich aber keinen Abbruch tut, sondern ganz im Gegenteil dafür sorgt, das der Fan nun gleich zwei Originale hat, auf die er so recht abfeiern kann. Für mich persönlich geht es beinah nicht mehr besser. Stellt euch doch mal vor Judas Priest gehen on Tour und haben KK’s Priest als zweiten Headliner im Gepäck… dies wäre ein Feuerwerk ohne gleichen. Bis es eventuell dazu kommt, genießen wir einfach die Alben und zurzeit kann dies nur den Namen, The Sinner Rides Again heißen. Volle Punktzahl, Kaufempfehlung und ein fettes Metal up von uns an dieser Stelle.
Are you fans of the classic New Wave of British Heavy Metal? Do you like Judas Priest in its purest form? Well then what’s coming now is just right for you. The only priest who can actually describe himself as such, after all, he was a founding member in the 70's and has since stopped serving as a guest here and there at the NWoBHM legend, is in touch with his Solo project which he founded after leaving his “main band”. The debut, Sermons often he Sinner, 2021, was already more than convincing and clearly showed who the priest is here, as I said, the successor is a real hammer. Once again, Tim Ripper Owens, also a former Judas Priest member, although he was never able to actually replace Rob Halford in the same band, is active on the microphone. We're talking about, of course, you've already guessed it, KK's Priest. Well dear readers and fans, they are back and serving you and us exactly what we expect. Pure heavy metal. Full on twelve. The Sinner Rides Again is the name of the new work, which features nine songs that are new to Nigel Nagel and will delight every willing metal ear. You can hear the usual shrill, flesh-cutting guitar riffs of KK Downing. The piercing vocals of Tim Ripper Owens. And the driving rhythms of the other band members. Sometimes razor-sharp, then threateningly thunderous. Only KK’s Priest sounds like that. With every song, the comparisons to the big “brother” immediately begin, but this doesn’t detract from the whole thing, but on the contrary, it ensures that the fan now has two originals that they can really celebrate. For me personally, things couldn't get any better. Just imagine Judas Priest going on tour and having KK’s Priest as their second headliner… this would be a firework display like no other. Until that happens, we'll just enjoy the albums and at the moment this can only be called The Sinner Rides Again. Full marks, purchase recommendation and a big metal up from us at this point.
