Es gibt frischen Wind aus Deutschland in Sachen Hard Rock & Heavy Metal. Auch wenn die Band selbst, aus bekannten Mitgliedern besteht, so kommt mit End of Silence, das Debüt Album der Formation, Sons of Eternity. Kurz zusammengefasst sind Sons of Eternity, Mathias „Schenky“ Schenk (Shylock) am Gesang, Gitarrist Matthias „Church“ Kirchgessner (u.a. Paul Dianno, Haggard), Jonas Roßner (Beyond the Black), Frederik Müller-Schartl (Apocrypha) am Bass und Thomas Abts (Crises) an den Drums. So kommen die Herren zwar aus den unterschiedlichsten Metal Genres, doch zusammen ergeben sie eine fantastisch auf einander eingespielte Einheit. We want live in Silence, wir werden nicht schweigend leben, ist dann auch gleich einmal die Kampfansage, die nicht nur als Textzeile im Opener des Debüts zu hören ist, sondern auch das Statement der Band. So handeln die Texte der Band von den gesellschaftlichen Problemen des 21. Jahrhunderts und reichen von persönlichen bis hin zu globalen Themen. Dies alles wird verpackt in eingängigen Hooks und Riffs gepaart mit der fantastischen Gesanges Leistung eines Matthias Schenk. So entstanden elf echte Hardrocker, die auf CD und Vinyl sogar noch durch einen weiteren Bonus Track präsentiert werden und so für den bereits anfänglich erwähnten frischen Wind in der Szene sorgen werden. Wir finden End of Silence hat es zum Jahresabschluss noch einmal geschafft um echte Erwähnung zu erfahren und vergeben zehn von zehn Punkten für dieses gelungene Album.
There is a breath of fresh air from Germany when it comes to Hard Rock & Heavy Metal. Even though the band itself consists of well-known members, End of Silence is the formation's debut album, Sons of Eternity. Briefly summarized are Sons of Eternity, Mathias “Schenky” Schenk (Shylock) on vocals, guitarist Matthias “Church” Kirchgessner (including Paul Dianno, Haggard), Jonas Roßner (Beyond the Black), Frederik Müller-Schartl (Apocrypha) on bass and Thomas Abts (Crises) on drums. The men come from a wide variety of metal genres, but together they form a fantastically well-coordinated unit. We want live in silence, we won't live in silence, is the declaration of war that can be heard not only as a line of text in the opener of the debut, but also the band's statement. The band's lyrics deal with the social problems of the 21st century and range from personal to global issues. All of this is packaged in catchy hooks and riffs paired with the fantastic vocal performance of Matthias Schenk. This resulted in eleven real hard rockers, which will be presented on CD and vinyl with an additional bonus track and will thus provide the breath of fresh air in the scene that was already mentioned at the beginning. We think End of Silence has made it again at the end of the year to get a real mention and give this successful album ten out of ten points.
