So kann es auch gehen. Da sieht man eine völlig unbekannte Band als Support und ist auf Anhieb begeistert. Da steht Dr. Death begleitet von seinen Zombies auf der Bühne und zelebriert den geilsten Powermetal, den man seit langem erleben durfte. Das komische daran ist, das die Band Dominum zwar bereits im Vorprogram von Schattenmann ihr „Unwesen“ treiben durften, ebenso sind sie als Support von Feuerschwanz für die in 2024 anstehende große Tour gebucht, dürfen unter anderem Bands wie Die Apokalyptischen Reiter und Equibrilium auf ihrer fünf Städte, Schrei!nachten Tour die in wenigen Tagen endet begleiten, doch haben bis zum heutigen Tag noch nicht ein einziges eigenes Album auf dem Markt. Dies ändert sich dann aber. Und zwar genau am heutigen Freitag dem 29.12.2023. Heute nämlich erscheint nun endlich das Debüt der neuen Powermetal Herausforderung. Der Name des Albums ist bereits Programm. Hey living People, heißt das gute Stück und bedeutet eigentlich nichts anderes als einen herzlichen Gruß aus dem Reich der Toten an alle „noch“ lebenden. Und so verwundert es auch nicht, das sich die Inhalte und Texte des Albums allesamt Geschichten rund um die Welt der Untoten drehen. So zelebrieren Dominum einen bunten Salat aus Horrorstory und klassischen Powermetal, der riesigen Spaß verheißt. Live jedenfalls konnten die vier Herren uns bereits in ihren Bann ziehen, und das was sie hier auf CD liefern, kann sich verdammt noch mal mehr als hören lassen. Wir vergeben für dieses Debüt doch glatt mal die volle Punktzahl und wünschen Dominum den verdienten Erfolg und allen Hörern den erwünschten Hörgenuss.
It can work that way too. You see a completely unknown band as support and you're immediately excited. There stands Dr. Death is accompanied by his zombies on stage and celebrates the hottest power metal that has been experienced in a long time. The funny thing about it is that the band Dominum were already allowed to cause mischief in the preliminary program for Schattenmann, and they are also booked to support Feuer Schwanz for the big tour coming up in 2024. Bands like Die Apokalyptischen Reiter and Equibrilium, among others, are allowed on theirs five cities, Schrei!nachten tour that ends in a few days, but to this day they don't have a single album of their own on the market. But this then changes. Exactly this Friday, December 29th, 2023. Today the debut of the new power metal challenge finally appears. The name of the album says it all. Hey living people, is the name of the song and actually means nothing other than a warm greeting from the realm of the dead to everyone “still” living. And so it's not surprising that the album's content and lyrics all revolve around stories about the world of the undead. So Dominum celebrate a colorful mix of horror story and classic power metal that promises a lot of fun. In any case, the four men were able to captivate us live, and what they deliver here on CD is definitely more than worth listening to. We give this debut full marks and wish Dominum the success it deserves and all listeners the listening pleasure they desire.
