Neue Punk Rock Musik aus deutschen Landen. Egal wohin die Reise geht, die Richtung stimmt, zumindest wenn es nach Ampex geht. Der Vierer aus Bad Berleburg-Diedenshausen, ist seit seiner Gründung im Jahr 2019 auf Erfolgskurs. So stand man bereits vor dem ersten Live Auftritt bereits unter Vertrag eines Labels und hatte mit, Einzelkämpfer, ein komplett fertiges Album im Gepäck, welches aber erst 2020 veröffentlicht wurde. Dann geschah genau das, was keiner erwartet hatte und was vielen das Genick brach… die Rede ist natürlich von Corona. Aber für Ampex gab es nie ein „Kopf in den Sand stecken“. Ganz im Gegenteil, sie produzierten ganz einfach mal Album Nummer zwei und räumten trotz Pandemie mit, Alles was du brauchst, alle Lorbeeren die es in der Musikpress gab ab. Heute nun erscheint das dritte Album. Zwei Jahre Zeit hat man sich für den dritten Streich gelassen. Und das tat, Eterno, so der Name von Album Nummer Drei verdammt gut. Ampex melden sich hörbar gereift und gestärkt mit elf brandneuen Songs zurück und packen erneut mit ihrem Punk Rock gepaart mit kräftigen Metal Riffs die Probleme unserer Zeit und Generation an. Textlich wird sich wohl ein Jeder irgendwo wiederfinden. So macht das neue Material, ob nun Kompromisslos Hart oder auch mal Gefühlvoll verdammt viel Spaß, und Lust auf mehr. Von uns gibt es eine klare Kaufempfehlung für diese coole Nummer Drei!

New punk rock music from Germany. No matter where the journey takes them, the direction is right, at least when it comes to Ampex. The four-piece from Bad Berleburg-Diedenshausen has been on the road to success since it was founded in 2019. Even before their first live performance, they were already signed to a label and had a completely finished album in their luggage, Einzelkämpfer, which was only released in 2020. Then exactly what nobody expected happened and what broke many people's necks... of course we're talking about corona. But for Ampex, there was never any "head in the sand". On the contrary, they simply produced album number two and, despite the pandemic, won all the laurels in the music press with Alles was du brauchst. The third album is being released today. They took two years to release their third album. And Eterno, the name of album number three, did a damn good job of it. Ampex are back, audibly matured and strengthened, with eleven brand new songs and once again tackle the problems of our time and generation with their punk rock paired with powerful metal riffs. Lyrically, everyone will probably find themselves somewhere. The new material, whether uncompromisingly hard or emotional, is a lot of fun and leaves you wanting more. From us there is a clear recommendation to buy this cool number three!
