Die weltweite Pandemie trägt noch immer ihre Früchte. Oft sind sie negativ. Auch im Fall der Power Metaler, Paragon, hätte die Pandemie und die damit gerade für Freischaffende Künstler aufgetretenen Problem, wie Kontakt/Auftrittsverbote und vieles mehr, beinah das Ende der Ära, die im Jahr 1990 in Hamburg ihren Anfang fand, ein Ende. Da kann man nur von Glück sagen, dass, Jan Bünning und Martin Christian, ihrem eisernen Willen folgend trotz allem weiter an neuem Material arbeiteten. 2023, auch nach Bandinternen Wechseln, konnte man nach all den Spannungen aufatmen und mit neuer Besetzung ging es weiter. Das Resultat aus der nun zusammengeschweißten neuen Formation, kann man nun seit letzter Woche auf dem aktuellen und nunmehr, vierzehnten Studiowerk, mit Namen, Metalation, genießen. Und auch hier kann man wie bei vielem, was trotz aller Umstände seinen Fortbestand feiern kann, nur sagen, gut das es weitergeht. Zwar ist man mit dem neuen Material was die Geschwindigkeit der Songs betrifft, einen kleinen Schritt Rückwärts gegangen, aber so klingt man 2024 noch mehr nach gutem alten Paragon Metal. Und das ist es was der werte Fan und Hörer sich wünscht und auf zehn brandneuen Songs auch serviert bekommt. Hier kommen Power, Geschwindigkeit, aber genauso Mit-Tempo Nummer die jeden Power Metal Fan erfreuen werden. Somit kann man nur eines sagen, Alles Richtig gemacht meine Herren. Bitte weiter so. Metal Up and Bang your Heads.

The global pandemic is still bearing fruit. They are often negative. In the case of power metal band Paragon, the pandemic and the problems it has caused for freelance artists in particular, such as contact/performance bans and much more, almost put an end to the era that began in Hamburg in 1990. It's lucky that Jan Bünning and Martin Christian, following their iron will, continued to work on new material despite everything. In 2023, even after changes within the band, they were able to breathe a sigh of relief after all the tensions and continued with a new line-up. The result of the now welded together new formation can now be enjoyed since last week on the current and now fourteenth studio work, called Metalation. And here too, as with many things that can celebrate their continued existence despite all the circumstances, one can only say that it's good that things are continuing. The new material may have taken a small step backwards in terms of the speed of the songs, but in 2024 it sounds even more like good old Paragon Metal. And that's what the valued fan and listener wants and gets served up on ten brand new songs. Here comes power, speed, but also mid-tempo numbers that will please every power metal fan. So you can only say one thing, everything done right gentlemen. Please keep it up. Metal up and bang your heads.
