Bereits seit 1991 beweisen Felix Stass und Markus Jüllich das ihr seinerzeit gegründetes Gothic Metal Projekt sehr wohl eine Existenzberechtigung besitzt. So wird man im nächsten Jahr dann auch mehr als verdient das fünfunddreißigste Jubiläum feiern. Crematory sind zurück, auch wenn sie eigentlich nie weg waren. Mit Destination servieren uns die fünf Herren ihr mittlerweile siebzehntes Album. Man geht mit dem neuen Werk einen großen Schritt Rückwärts hin zu den Wurzeln und gleichzeitig einen verdammt weiten Schritt vorwärts in Richtung Zukunft. Crematory klingen 2025 frischer denn je. So entführt bereits der Opener den gewillten Hörer tief in die Abgründe des düsteren Gothic Metal Sounds von Crematory. Erneut beweist die Band ihr Können und das Verständnis düster Klänge mit harten Riffs zu paaren und selbiges mit einem unverwechselbaren Gesang zu versüßen. Rhythmisch vereint sich Härte und Gefühl. Crematory gelten nicht umsonst als einer der ganz großen Vorreiter dieser Szene und beweisen mit Destination erneut, dass sie diesen Titel zu Recht inne haben. Gleich zwölf neue Songs präsentiert die Band in ihren unverwechselbaren Style. Wer hier nicht auf seine Kosten kommt, hat in der Szene leider nichts verloren. So ist das neue Album ein Muss sowohl für Hard Rock und Metal Fans als auch Freunde des Goth Rocks und wird von uns zu einhundert Prozent empfohlen. Und so wünschen wir beste und düsterste Unterhaltung.

Felix Stass and Markus Jüllich have been proving since 1991 that the gothic metal project they founded back then has a right to exist. So next year they will more than deservedly celebrate their thirty-fifth anniversary. Crematory are back, even if they never really left. With Destination, the five gentlemen serve us their seventeenth album. With the new work, they take a big step backwards towards their roots and at the same time a damn big step forwards towards the future. Crematory sound fresher than ever in 2025. The opening track takes the willing listener deep into the abysses of Crematory's dark gothic metal sound. Once again, the band proves its ability and understanding of combining dark sounds with hard riffs and sweetening them with unmistakable vocals. Rhythmically, hardness and feeling are combined. Crematory are not considered one of the great pioneers of this scene for nothing and with Destination they prove once again that they rightly hold this title. The band presents twelve new songs in their unmistakable style. Anyone who doesn't get their money's worth here has unfortunately lost nothing in the scene. So the new album is a must for hard rock and metal fans as well as friends of goth rock and is recommended by us one hundred percent. And so we wish you the best and darkest entertainment.
