Metalite melden sich eindrucksvoll zurück und servieren dem gewillten Hörer und Fan, mit Discovery, ihr neues Studioalbum. Die Schweden setzen den eigeschlagenen Weg kompromisslos fort und überraschen mit insgesamt zwölf neuen Nummern. Seit der Gründung im Jahr 2015 und dem schließlich 2017 erschienenen Debüt, Hereos in Time, sind die Melodic Metaler mit Frontfrau, Erica Ohlsson, die 2019 die Gründungsstimme der Band, Emma Bensing, ablöste, unaufhaltsam unterwegs. Im Studio, genau wie Live auf den Bühnen sind Metalite zu finden und servieren ihren sich stets weiterentwickelnden modernen Melodic und symphonisch anmutenden Metal, der mal treibend schnell und mal gefühlvoll überzeugend herüberkommt. Ein weiteres Plus ist das persönliche und äusserst sympathische Auftreten aller Mitglieder.
Discovery setzt dabei genau dort an, wie die Vorgänger endeten und legt die Messlatte erneut ein Stück höher an. Ihrefuturistische Klanglandschaften treffen auf hymnische Vocals, elektrisierende Melodien, cineastische Synthesizer und energiegeladene Riffs. So entsteht erneut ein Album, welches zum einen verdammt viel Spaß versprüht und zum anderen rockt und zum Feiern einlädt.
Die Gitarren und Drums treiben die Songs voran. Der Bass läßt das Blut hochkochen und die Stimme von Erica trifft sofort mitten ins Herz.
Was soll man dazu noch sagen, außer, mal wieder alles richtig gemacht. Ein Volltreffer der die volle Punktzahl und Kaufempfehlung mehr als verdient hat. Na dann…

Metalite make an impressive comeback, serving up their new studio album, *Discovery*, to eager listeners and fans. The Swedish band uncompromisingly continues on its established path, surprising us with a total of twelve new tracks. Since their formation in 2015 and the release of their debut album, *Heroes in Time*, in 2017, these melodic metallers—fronted by Erica Ohlsson (who took over from original vocalist Emma Bensing in 2019)—have been an unstoppable force. Whether in the studio or performing live on stage, Metalite deliver a constantly evolving blend of modern melodic and symphonic-style metal that shifts seamlessly between driving, high-speed intensity and deeply moving, soulful moments. Another plus is the personal and incredibly likable demeanor of all the band members.
*Discovery* picks up exactly where its predecessors left off, raising the bar even higher. Futuristic soundscapes meet anthemic vocals, electrifying melodies, cinematic synths, and high-energy riffs. The result is an album that is not only incredibly fun but also rocks hard and invites you to celebrate.
Guitars and drums drive the songs forward; the bass gets the blood pumping, and Erica’s voice strikes straight to the heart.
What more is there to say? They’ve nailed it once again. A total triumph that more than deserves a perfect score and a strong recommendation. So, here we go...
