WtF war das denn bitte schön?
Der Abend begann schon sehr zeitig für uns als Streetteam Berlin, bereits kurz nach 18 Uhr vor dem Orwohaus. Ein erstes Treffen mit dem Veranstalter war angesagt, bestand doch der Plan, dass wir ab sofort im Rahmen der Möglichkeiten des Streetteam Berlin ab sofort zusammenarbeiten wollten. Nach einem netten Aufeinandertreffen mit der Gitarristin von All for Metal trafen wir also besagten Herrn Veranstalter. Joerg, so der Name ist ein sehr angenehmer Zeitgenosse und alter Hase im Veranstaltungsbuissines. Sehr schnell war klar, dass wir rein Arbeitstechnisch gut zueinander passen würden, und so steht nun fest, wir werden Joerg und sein Team von nun an mit aller Kraft und unseren Möglichkeiten, wie so viele andere unterstützen.
Dann war es Zeit für den großen Auftritt der ersten Band des Abends. Seven Kingdoms standen auf dem Plan. Ich muss zu meiner Schande gestehen, dass ich bis zum gestrigen Abend nichts von dieser Band wusste. Schon der erste Eindruck was da kommen mag, stellte uns vor die Frage, „… wir sind aber schon auf einem Metal Konzert, oder?“ Diese Frage entstand allein dadurch, dass das Schlagzeug, der gleich antretenden Formation, mit Plüschtieren in Form von einer Katze und Hamburgern geziert war. Es wurde auch nicht viel besser dadurch, dass die, im Übrigen verdammt Energiegeladene und Talentierte Frontfrau und Sängerin der Band in Plüschpantoffeln in Form von Hamburgern auf die Bühne kam. Alle Zweifel wurden aber sofort mit den ersten Tönen der Band, bestehend aus Schlagzeug, Gitarre, Bass und Gesang ertönten. Mein lieber Vater, ging jetzt die Post ab. Mega brutale Riffs, die zudem auch noch die richtige Arschtritt Geschwindigkeit hatten, paarten sich mit einem Wahnsinns Gesang und tanzbaren Rhythmen. Der Metal Fete stand also nichts mehr im Weg. Die gesamte Band, wie übrigens auch alle folgenden, agierten perfekt auf der Bühne und trieben das hungrige Publikum, welches das Orwohaus so gut wie ausverkauft, gefüllt hatten mal so richtig nach vorn. Leider war nach zehn Nummern bereits Schluss und Seven Kingdoms verabschiedeten sich unter lautstarkem Jubel.
Der zweite Akt des Abends, All for Metal, schickte sich nun an die Bühne zu entern. Ich, der das Glück hatte im Fotograben stehen zu dürfen, hatte guten Blick auf die Tür, die vom Backstage zur Bühne führte. Erst erblickte ich die mir nun durch das kurze Aufeinandertreffen bekannte Gitarristin. Sie, eher etwas kleiner, ich würde sagen nicht mehr als 1,60 „Hoch“ machte sich auf den Weg zur Bühne, als mir plötzlich der Atem stockte. Tauchte doch direkt hinter ihr ein Riese auf. Liebe Leser ich schwöre ich dachte der Herr der da jetzt gleich die Bühne betritt passt nie und nimmer durch die Tür. Ein Mann wie ein Baum. Ohne Zweifel stellt der eine der Frontmänner so ziemlich alles in den Schatten, was ich bisher live erleben durfte. Man kann ihn auch als pure Kraft und Energie bezeichnen. Was All for Metal dann live abliefern ist ein wahres Fest. Genau wie ihr Frontmann ist der Sound, die Stimmung und Spielweise einfach mit einem Wort zu beschreiben. Und dieses Wort heißt Power. Das Zusammenspiel von zwei Gitarristinnen, einem Schlagwerker, einem Mann am Bass und gleich zwei Sängern, die alle samt von zwei Tänzerinnen live begleitet werden, passen wie die berühmte Faust aufs Auge. Hier passt einfach alles. Sound, Rhythmus, Energie und eine verdammt cool ausgeklügelte Bühnenpresents, mit Masken und verdammt starken Kostümen. Wer All for Metal bereits nach Veröffentlichung ihres Debüt Albums in diesem Jahr mochte, der wird sie wenn er sie Live erlebt hat lieben. Auch hier hätte man verdammt gern noch länger zugehört und gesehen.
Teil drei des Abends, sind die Zwerge des Metals. Nun, Zwerge, hm, also wenn diese Bezeichnung überhaupt auf einen der Akteure passen würde, dann wohl auf den Frontmann und Sänger. Ist er zwar nicht gerade von kleiner Statur, so kommt das gesamte Erscheinungsbild seiner Person, der eines Zwergen Kriegers doch schon am nächsten. Wind Rose, der Name der Band, die sich nun daran machen, das Publikum, welches nach wie vor mehr als begeistert feiert, zu unterhalten. Und dies gelingt der Formation auch spielend. Mit viel guter Laune und einem zum bisher dargebotenen Programm passend, donnern die Herren ihr Feuerwerk aus starken Riffs, coolen Rhythmen und mächtigen Vocals auf die Massen ab und überrollen das Orwohaus mit ihren Klängen. Als eine Situation in der ersten Reihe der Fans vor der Bühne zu eskalieren droht, schreitet der Frontmann sofort ein und beruhigt die erhitzten Gemüter mit den Worten, Hey Guys, Today ist not a Say to fight. It’s a Day to have Fun and make a Party. Und so wird das Konzert ohne weitere Probleme fortgesetzt und wird mit Abschluss des „Headliners“ zu einem echten Erfolg.
Unser Fazit nach gut 4 Stunden Metal-Sause, es gab an diesem Abend gleich drei wahre Headliner, die alle ihr bestes gaben. Im Anschluss nahm man sich gern noch die Zeit für einen persönlichen Plausch mit den Fans, wo die Möglichkeit für Autograme und Fotos mit den Bands auch sehr gern angenommen wurde.
Für uns als Streetteam, ein doppelter Erfolg. Ein neuer sehr vielversprechender Geschäftspartner sowie ein Konzert, welches ganz sicher noch lange nachhallen wird. Ausführliche Fotos zum Event bekommt ihr in Kürze über unsere bekannten Kanäle zu sehen.

WtF was that nice?
The evening started very early for us as Streetteam Berlin, shortly after 6 p.m. in front of the Orwohaus. An initial meeting with the organizer was scheduled, as the plan was that we wanted to work together from now on within the scope of Streetteam Berlin's possibilities. After a nice meeting with the guitarist from All for Metal, we met the organizer in question. Joerg, as he is called, is a very pleasant fellow and an old hand in the event business. It became clear very quickly that we would be a good fit for each other in terms of work, and so it is now clear that from now on we will support Joerg and his team with all our strength and possibilities, like so many others.
Then it was time for the big performance of the first band of the evening. Seven Kingdoms were on the agenda. I'm ashamed to admit that I didn't know anything about this band until last night. Even the first impression of what was to come asked us the question, "... we're already at a metal concert, aren't we?" This question arose solely because the drums, the formation that was about to appear, were equipped with plush toys in the shape of a cat and hamburgers. Things didn't get much better when the band's, by the way, energetic and talented front woman and singer came on stage in plush slippers shaped like hamburgers. All doubts were immediately heard with the first notes of the band, consisting of drums, guitar, bass and vocals. My dear father, the mail went off now. Mega brutal riffs, which also had the right ass-kicking speed, were paired with amazing vocals and danceable rhythms. So nothing stood in the way of the Metal Fete. The entire band, as well as everyone who followed, performed perfectly on stage and really drove the hungry audience, which had almost sold out the Orwohaus, to the front. Unfortunately, it was over after ten numbers and Seven Kingdoms said goodbye to loud cheers.
The second act of the evening, All for Metal, was now about to take the stage. I, who was lucky enough to be able to stand in the photo pit, had a good view of the door that led from backstage to the stage. First I saw the guitarist, who I now knew from the brief encounter. She, rather a little shorter, I would say no more than 1.60 tall, made her way to the stage when I suddenly took my breath away. A giant appeared right behind her. Dear readers, I swear I thought the gentleman who is about to enter the stage would never, ever fit through the door. A man like a tree. Without a doubt, one of the front men outshines pretty much everything I've been able to experience live so far. It can also be described as pure power and energy. What All for Metal then delivers live is a true celebration. Just like their frontman, the sound, mood and style of playing can easily be described in one word. And that word is power. The interaction of two guitarists, a percussionist, a man on bass and two singers, all of whom are accompanied live by two dancers, fit like a glove. Everything just fits here. Sound, rhythm, energy and a damn cool, sophisticated stage presentation, with masks and damn strong costumes. Anyone who liked All for Metal after their debut album was released this year will love them once they see them live. Here, too, one would have loved to have listened and watched for longer.
Part three of the evening is the dwarves of metal. Well, dwarves, hmm, if this term would fit one of the actors at all, it would probably be the front man and singer. Although he is not exactly small in stature, his overall appearance is the closest thing to that of a dwarven warrior. Wind Rose, the name of the band, who are now setting out to entertain the audience, who are still celebrating more than enthusiastically. And the formation manages to do this easily. With a lot of good humor and a program that fits the previous performance, the men thunder down their fireworks of strong riffs, cool rhythms and powerful vocals on the masses and roll over the Orwohaus with their sounds. When a situation in the front row of fans in front of the stage threatens to escalate, the frontman immediately intervenes and calms the heated emotions with the words, Hey guys, today is not a say to fight. It's a day to have fun and have a party. And so the concert continues without any further problems and becomes a real success with the conclusion of the “headliner”.
Our conclusion after a good 4 hours of metal break, there were three true headliners that evening, all of whom gave their best. Afterwards, people were happy to take the time to have a personal chat with the fans, where the opportunity for autographs and photos with the bands was also very welcome.
For us as a street team, a double success. A new, very promising business partner and a concert that will definitely resonate for a long time. You will soon see detailed photos of the event via our well-known channels.
