Wer dachte, nach dem megastarken, Skycrest, aus dem Jahr 2020 kann nichts besseres mehr kommen und man hätte den Höhepunkt erreicht, der hat sich geirrt. Selbst Frontman und Speerspitze, Piet Sielck, dachte, da ja eigentlich das Grundgerüst für das kommende Album, betitelt mit dem Namen, Firestar, bereits stand, da kommen wir wohl kaum mehr drüber hinaus. Doch dann holte Piet die Muse ein, küsste ihn wach und pflanzte neues Saatgut, in Form von drei weiteren Nummern, die das neue Material noch einmal völlig auf den Kopf stellen sollten und somit das Album noch einmal so stark beeinflussen sollten, das es dem Nachfolger und Neuwerk tatsächlich gelungen ist noch eine Schippe oben drauf zu legen. So entstanden die zwei zusätzlichen Songs, die Hymne, In the Realm of Heavy Metal und der Titeltrack, Firestar. Dazu änderte Piet kurzerhand den Rafrain der eigentlich fertigen Nummer, Together as One, und verpasste der Nummer so erst den richtigen Kick. Wer jetzt noch immer nicht weiß von wem hier die Rede ist, dem sein schnell auf die Sprünge geholfen. Es geht natürlich um die Hanseaten, Iron Savior. Der vierer meldet sich mit, Firestar, dem mittlerweile vierzehnten Album zurück. Und dies tun sie wirklich verdammt eindrucksvoll mit elf brandneuen Metal Giganten, die sich alle ohne Ausnahme hören lassen können. So kommen hier rasiermesserscharfe Riffs, treibende Drums und Rhythmen und der gewohnt starke Gesang eines bestgelaunten Piet Sielck. Inhaltlich halten sich Iron Savior an ihren bekannten Style und erzählen zum Teil Fantasy/Sci-Fi Geschichten und befassen sich andererseits mit alltäglichen Geschehnissen. So stellt die Band klar, das die Themen die sie musikalisch verarbeiten allesamt von ihnen auch persönlich vertretbar sein müssen. Through the Fires of Hell, zum Beispiel ist eine sehr persönliche Nummer, die Piet Sielck seiner Ehefrau widmet und damit an Geschichten seiner Patchworkfamilie erinnert. Insgesamt ist das neue Material eine Mischung typischen Iron Savior Salven, gepaart mit etwas Pop und urtypischem Hardrock. Alles sehr schön verpackt in mitreißenden Powermetal-Krachern, die über die gesamte Spielzeit keine Langeweile aufkommen lassen und verdammt viel Spaß verbreiten. Na das hat sich doch mal wieder gelohnt. Volle Punktzahl… und bitte weiter so!

To this end, Piet changed the rafrain of the actually finished number, Together As One, and only missed the number the right kick. If you still don't know who is talking about here, you can quickly help you. It is of course about the Hanseatic League, Iron Savior. The four reports back, Firestar, the fourteenth album. And they really do this impressively with eleven brand new metal giants, all of whom can be heard without exception. This is how razor -sharp riffs, driving drums and rhythms and the usual strong singing of a well -moody Piet Sielck come. In terms of content, Iron Savior adhere to her well-known style and partly tell Fantasy/Sci-Fi stories and on the other hand deal with everyday events. The band makes it clear that the topics that they process musically must also be personally justifiable. Through the Fires of Hell, for example, is a very personal number that Piet Sielck dedicates to his wife and thus reminds of stories from his patchwork family. Overall, the new material is a mixture of typical Iron Savior Salves, paired with a little pop and typical hard rock. Everything very nicely packed in rousing power metal crashing, who do not give up boredom over the entire season and spread a lot of fun. Well that was worth it again. Full points ... and please keep it up!
