Zwei Dinge gleich einmal vorweg. Als mir das Album Mad World von der österreichischen Crossover Band/Kapelle, auf den Schreibtisch flatterte konnte ich schon einmal mit dem Namen überhaupt nichts anfangen. Ich dachte nur, ok, noch nie gehört, na ich lass mich überraschen. Und die Überraschung ließ nicht lange auf sich warten, als ich die ersten Töne vernahm. What the F… ist das bitte, so mein erster etwas verwirrter Eindruck. Aber irgendwie hatte dieser mehr wie Comedy klingende Rhythmus schon im Ansatz etwas, was mich dann dazu Anhieb. Ok, Recherche! Heraus kam, das es die Band bereits seit 2001 gibt und das Mad World das mittlerweile fünfte Studioalbum ist. Des weiteren konnte ich in Erfahrung bringen, das die Dame und fünf Herren in ihrer Heimat nicht nur äußerst beliebt sondern auch schon mehrfach mit Musikpreisen ausgezeichnet wurden. Nach einer personellen Umbesetzung 2022, erscheint nun genau am heutigen Tag, als das bereits von mir erwähnte Album Mad World. So verwundert ich anfänglich auch war, muss ich gestehen, dass der Sound sowie die Texte schon sehr durchgeknallt klingen. Aber genau das ist es eben. Soviel, entschuldigt den Ausdruck, „Wahnsinn“ ist schon wieder der Knaller, Hinzu kommt, dass man genau weiß was man hier treibt und verdammt noch mal Spaß daran hat. So kommt hier ein mit elf Stücken besetztes Album, welches durch Irrsinn, Rhythmus und irgendwie alles in Allem ausgeklügelte Texte enthält. Eigentlich passt hier die Bezeichnung richtig schön Verrückt am besten. Wer mal wieder Lust auf verdammt viel Spaß, Irrsinn gepaart mit dem richtigen Maß an guter Musik hat, der ist bei Kontrust und ihrem neuen Album, Mad World genau richtig aufgestellt. Ich zieh mich dann mal zurück und zieh mir dieses echt schräge Teil gleich ein weiteres Mal rein…
Two things in advance. When the album Mad World from the Austrian crossover band/chapel fluttered on the desk, I couldn't do anything with the name. I just thought, ok, never heard, well I let myself be surprised. And the surprise was not long in coming when I heard the first tones. What the F ... is that my first somewhat confused impression. But somehow this more like a comedy had a sounding rhythm in the beginning that I then put me on. Ok, research! The result was that the band has existed since 2001 and the Mad World is now the fifth studio album. Furthermore, I was able to find out that the lady and five gentlemen in their homeland not only have been extremely popular but have also been awarded music prices several times. After a repository in 2022, now appears exactly today when the album Mad World already mentioned by me. So I was at the beginning, I have to admit that the sound and the texts sound very crazy. But that's exactly what it is. So much, excuses the expression, "madness" is again the blast, in addition to knowing exactly what you are doing here and damn it. This is how an album occupied with eleven pieces comes here, which contains madness, rhythm and somehow all in all sophisticated texts. Actually, the name fits really nice and crazy here. If you want a lot of fun again, you have a lot of fun, madness paired with the right degree of good music, you are just put up with the contrast and your new album, Mad World. I then pull back and pull this really sloping part in again ...
