Düster und voller Kraft, und dabei nicht im geringsten übertrieben, so präsentieren sich die Newcomer, Grain of Pain, aus Finnland. Sie lassen sich von verschiedenen Einflüssen inspirieren und verweben nahtlos dunkle Atmosphären und kraftvolle Melodien in ihre Kompositionen. Mastermind und Kopf der Band, Timo Solonen, kann sogar mit einem prestigeträchtigen Spellemannsprisen, gleichzusetzen mit dem Finnischen Grammy, mit dem er ausgezeichnet wurde, glänzen. Und so präsentiert nun also, Grain of Pain, sein Debüt via Noble Demon Records und wünscht sich nichts mehr als mit ihren neun Songs viele Musikinteressierte anzusprechen und Fans zu gewinnen. Uns konnten sie mit ihrer einzigartigen Mischung aus düsterem Doom und Death Metal gepaart mit melodischen und gar choralen Gesängen, die sowohl von Härte als auch Melodien geprägt sind durchaus überzeugen. Wir sind gespannt wohin die Reise dieser Band noch gehen wird.

Gloomy and full of power, yet not in the least exaggerated, this is how the newcomers Grain of Pain from Finland present themselves. They draw inspiration from various influences and seamlessly weave dark atmospheres and powerful melodies into their compositions. Mastermind and head of the band, Timo Solonen, can even boast a prestigious Spellemannsprisen, equivalent to the Finnish Grammy, which he was awarded. And so, Grain of Pain now presents its debut via Noble Demon Records and wants nothing more than to appeal to many music fans with its nine songs. They were able to convince us with their unique mixture of dark doom and death metal paired with melodic and even choral vocals, which are characterized by both heaviness and melodies. We are excited to see where this band's journey will take them.
