Am 13. September erscheint „A Story to Tell“, das Debütalbum der internationalen Melodic
Heavy (Power) Metal Band TIMELESS FAIRYTALE, welches über das schwedische
Label ViciSolum Productions erscheint.
Gegründet wurde TIMELESS FAIRYTALE vom dänischen Sänger Henrik Brockmann (ursprünglich Frontmann von
Royal Hunt und Evil Masquerade) und dem italienischen Gitarristen/Songwriter Luca Sellitto, der bei der Band
Stamina und Session-Gitarrist bei Ian Parry's Rock Emporium. Vervollständigt wird das mächtige Lineup durch eine
Rhythmusgruppe, bestehend aus Staminas Bassisten Carmine Vivo und dem schwedischen Schlagzeuger
Viktor Enebjörn, von den Bands Forever Still und Darknd. Der Stil von TIMELESS FAIRYTALE ist
ist das Ergebnis einer geschmackvollen Kombination aus Neoklassik/Power Metal, symphonischem Metal und klassischem Rock.
Soweit die offizielle Vorstellung der Band und des Labels.
Was aber erwartet den gewillten Hörer und interessierten Musikfreund. Nun, wie schon erwähnt, kommt hier eine äußerst interessante Classic Power-Metal Band daher. Vergleiche zum italienischen Urgestein, Rhapsody/Rhapsody on Fire, werden sofort offensichtlich. Was dem Ganzen aber ganz im Gegenteil eher hilft als schadet. Timeless Fairytale, klingen genauso frisch, wie die Band ist! Und die vier Herren verstehen ihr Handwerk aus dem FF. So kommen hier treibende Rhythmen gepaart mit klassischen Instrumentals und einem dem Hörer ziemlich schnell ins Ohr wandernder klarer Gesang daher, der sich bereits mit dem Debüt mehr als hören lassen kann. Besonders hervorzuheben sind hier auch noch die beinah schon an Hexerei erinnernden Gitarren Riffs, eines Luca Sellito. Der Knabe könnte auch Stiletto heißen, so Messerscharf spielt er sein Instrument. Henrik Brockmann kann man auch schon mal in einen Topf mit Größen, wie Klaus Meine oder David Coverdale werfen. Was für eine Stimme. Die treibenden Drums und Bass-Linien von Carmine Vivo und Viktor Enebjörn runden das Konzept dann zu einem ganz großen ab.
Wir denken schon jetzt, da kommt etwas ziemlich gewaltiges auf die Fans und Freunde des klassischen Power-Metals zu und wünschen der Band auf diesem weg verdammt viel Erfolg. Von uns gibt es für dieses Erstlingswerk die volle Punktzahl und die absolute Kaufempfehlung oben drauf.

On September 13th “A Story to Tell”, the debut album of the international Melodic
heavy (power) metal band TIMELESS FAIRYTALE, which will be released via the Swedish
label ViciSolum Productions.
TIMELESS FAIRYTALE was founded by Danish singer Henrik Brockmann (originally frontman of
Royal Hunt and Evil Masquerade) and the Italian guitarist/songwriter Luca Sellitto, who played in the band
Stamina and session guitarist with Ian Parry's Rock Emporium. The powerful lineup is completed by a
rhythm section, consisting of Stamina's bassist Carmine Vivo and the Swedish drummer
Viktor Enebjörn, from the bands Forever Still and Darknd. The style of TIMELESS FAIRYTALE is
is the result of a tasteful combination of neo-classical/power metal, symphonic metal and classic rock.
So much for the official introduction of the band and the label.
But what can the willing listener and interested music lover expect? Well, as already mentioned, this is an extremely interesting classic power metal band. Comparisons with the Italian veterans, Rhapsody/Rhapsody on Fire, are immediately obvious. Which, on the contrary, helps rather than hurts the whole thing. Timeless Fairytale sound just as fresh as the band is! And the four gentlemen know their craft from the FF. Driving rhythms are paired with classic instrumentals and clear vocals that quickly catch the listener's ear and are already more than worth listening to on their debut. The guitar riffs of Luca Sellito, which are almost reminiscent of witchcraft, deserve special mention here. The boy could also be called Stiletto, he plays his instrument so razor-sharp. Henrik Brockmann can also be lumped together with greats like Klaus Meine or David Coverdale. What a voice. The driving drums and bass lines of Carmine Vivo and Viktor Enebjörn round off the concept to a really great one.
We already think that the fans and friends of classic power metal are in for something pretty big and wish the band a lot of success on this path. We give this debut album full marks and an absolute recommendation to buy.
