DOMINUM – The Dead don’t Die

Wenn eine Band auf Tour geht und das auch nur als Support, um ihr, zu diesem Zeitpunkt noch nicht erschienenes Debüt Album zu promoten. Wenn diese Band dann nicht nur mit ihren Songs und Sound, sondern auch mit ihrer Liveperformance, als Dr. Dead und seine Zombies, das Publikum überzeugen kann. Und wenn daraus dann zu guter Letzt auch noch, dann allerdings nach erscheinen des Debüts, eine ausgedehnte Support Tour, unter anderem mit Szenegrößen wie, Bruce Dickinson (Iron Maiden), Avantasia, Feuerschwanz und Peyton Parrish, gefolgt von Festivalauftritten, entstehen, dann kann es in diesem Fall nur um die Zombie Rock Formation, Dominum gehen.
Zum Jahresende, 2024, präsentieren, Felix Heldt alias Dr. Dead und seine Zombie Kollegen nun ihr zweites Studioalbum. Und was die im Vorfeld bereits ankündigenden Singleauskopplungen erahnen ließen, bestätigt nun das neue Werk, The Dead don’t die, äußerst nachdrücklich. Album Nummer zwei ist ein verdammt starker Nachfolger des Debüts. So sind die Kompositionen noch ausgefeilter, der Sound noch druckvoller und der Gesang von Dr. Death noch düsterer und eindrücklicher. Im Ganzen, hat man bereits mit Album Nummer zwei eine ganze Schippe oben drauf gelegt und beweist verdammt eindrucksvoll, dass mit Dominum in den nächsten Jahren gerechnet werden muss. Die insgesamt elf neuen Nummern wurden abermals von Jacob Hansen (u.a. Volbeat, Arch Enemy, Evergrey) produziert, was die Klasse des Werkes ebenfalls noch einmal auf eine höhere Ebene hebt.
Die Mischung aus Hard Rock, Metal, Dark Rock und Symphonic, machen hierbei den extrem starken Sound von Dominum aus.
Hier kommt also sowohl der Metal, als auch der Düster Rock Fan voll auf seine Kosten. Also warum noch warten? Legt euch das Album, welches auch in einer zwei CD Version, mit ausgewählten Live Nummern der Band erschienen ist, zu, und feiert mit , The Dead don’t Die den Übergang ins neue Jahr. When a band goes on tour and only as support to promote their debut album, which has not yet been released at the time. If this band can convince the audience not only with their songs and sound, but also with their live performance as Dr. Dead and his zombies. And if this also results in an extensive support tour, including with scene greats such as Bruce Dickinson (Iron Maiden), Avantasia, Feuerschwanz and Peyton Parrish, followed by festival appearances, then in this case it can only be about the zombie rock formation, Dominum.
At the end of the year, 2024, Felix Heldt alias Dr. Dead and his zombie colleagues are now presenting their second studio album. And the new work, The Dead don't die, emphatically confirms what the single releases announced in advance. Album number two is a damn strong follow-up to the debut. The compositions are even more sophisticated, the sound even more powerful and Dr. Death's vocals even darker and more impressive. All in all, album number two has already taken things up a notch and proves impressively that Dominum are a force to be reckoned with in the coming years. The eleven new songs were once again produced by Jacob Hansen (Volbeat, Arch Enemy, Evergrey, among others), which once again raises the quality of the album to a higher level.
The mixture of hard rock, metal, dark rock and symphonic make up the extremely strong sound of Dominum.
Both metal and dark rock fans will get their money's worth here. So why wait any longer?
