MIDLIFE-CRISIS! Ist eine etwas Ungewöhnliche schwedische „Supergroup“ im Genre des '77er Punk Rock.
Hinter dem Namen verstecken sich, Urrke (Maryslim, Bizex-B), Dregen (Backyard Babies, The Hellacopters, Mike Monroe Band), Robban Eriksson (The Hellacopters, Strindbergs, Winnerbäck, Syl Sylvain), und Måns P Månsson (Crimson Shadows, Wrecks, Maggots), die bereits im Jahr 2004 das erste Mal zusammen eine erste EP mit drei Punk Klassikern veröffentlichten.
Es folgten bis ins Jahr 2018 drei weitere EPs.
Nun im Jahr 2025 dachte man sich, es wäre Zeit alle bisher erschienenen Songs zu vereinen und ein Album daraus zu machen. Das Ergebnis, ist das vierzehn Nummern umfassende Debüt Album mit Namen 45 Turns 33. Für all die unter unserer Leser und Interessenten, der Name bezieht sich auf die Umdrehungen von Vinyl Schallplatten. So drehten Singles 45 Umdrehungen in der Minute, während LP’s nur 33 Umdrehungen in der Minute tätigen. Also kann man den Namen des Albums auch gern, Single wird zu LP nennen.
Alles in Allem ist das vorliegende Album eine verdammt coole Ansammlung von klassischen Punk Rock Songs, die frisch aus den 70’er Jahren in das hier und jetzt transportiert worden zu scheinen. Für Fans und Freude des einig wahren Punk Sounds genau das Richtige.

MIDLIFE-CRISIS! is a somewhat unusual Swedish “supergroup” in the genre of '77 punk rock.
Behind the name are Urrke (Maryslim, Bizex-B), Dregen (Backyard Babies, The Hellacopters, Mike Monroe Band), Robban Eriksson (The Hellacopters, Strindbergs, Winnerbäck, Syl Sylvain), and Måns P Månsson (Crimson Shadows, Wrecks, Maggots), who released their first EP together in 2004 with three punk classics.
Three more EPs followed until 2018.
Now in the year 2025, they thought it was time to combine all the songs they had released so far and make an album out of them. The result is the fourteen track debut album called 45 Turns 33. For those of our readers and interested parties, the name refers to the number of turns of vinyl records. Singles turned 45 turns per minute, while LP's only made 33 turns per minute. So the name of the album can also be called Single becomes LP.
All in all, this album is a damn cool collection of classic punk rock songs that seem to have been transported fresh from the 70's to the here and now. Just the thing for fans and fans of the one true punk sound.
