Die Heldmaschine meldet sich mit ihrem nunmehr bereits siebenten Studioalbum zurück und präsentiert damit auch gleich den Beginn der neuen Eiszeit. Eiszeit, so nämlich der Name des neuen Werkes, welches in urtypischer Heldmaschinen Manie wie ein Vorschlaghammer auf den werten Hörer einschlägt. Ist die Neue Deutsche Härte Band dafür bekannt, sich in Sachen Härte und direkten Textzeilen zu präsentieren, so wird beim neuen Material bestimmt niemand enttäuscht. Meine Welt, Schlag mich oder auch Raus, machen da nur den grandiosen Anfang eines Albums, welches auf insgesamt dreizehn Nummern kommt. Auch wenn die Heldmaschine nach wie vor auch als Rammstein Cover Band, Völkerball, aktiv ist, und hier ganz und gar dem großen R Tribute zollt, und die Stilrichtung der Heldmaschine ebenso, der Neuen Deutschen Härte folgt, sollten die ewigen Vergleiche hier nicht wieder und wieder durchgekaut werden. Heldmaschine ist Heldmaschine. Fertig!
Was die Herren anno 2025 da präsentieren, kann sich erneut hören und sicherlich Live auch sehen lassen. So geht es erneut schön hart und direkt zur Sache. Wunderschöne Eigeninterpretationen mit viel Herz und Verstand bahnen sich ihren Weg vom Ohr ins Herz und Hirn. Ob da nun mit brachialer Gewalt oder auch schon mal mit viel Gefühl, wie bei „Nur ein Lächeln“, stets schwingt eine kleine Geschichte oder Botschaft in den Texten mit. So greift man unter anderem Themen wie, Ich bin ein Star (Holt mich hier raus) auf und zeigt einmal erneut wie man mit was auch immer sein Geld machen kann. Man muss nur für genügend Einschaltquoten sorgen. Wie auch immer. Mittlerweile ist doch eh „Fast“ alles erlaubt. So deckt die Heldmaschine also erneut die „Dummheit“ der Menschen auf und hält dem Hörer den musikalischen Spiegel vors Gesicht. Da geht man auch schon mal Hand in Hand mit dem Kopf des anderen durch die Wand. Oder man mutiert zum Webterrorist und zeigt wie schön es doch in der Welt des WWW ist.
Fazit zum neuen Werk, man sollte nicht immer alles so ernst nehmen und einfach mal den Spaß genießen, selbst wenn es auf Kosten der anderen ist. Das Album selbst macht riesigen Spaß und lässt nicht zu oft das verschmitzte Grinsen der Heldmaschine aufblitzen. Neue Deutsche Härte, die wie immer erfreut und zum Feiern einlädt. Also keine Angst, der Hörer darf sich sicher sein, wo Heldmaschine drauf steht, da ist auch Heldmaschine drin. Und das ist auch verdammt gut so.

Heldmaschine are back with their seventh studio album, marking the beginning of a new ice age. Eiszeit is the name of the new album, which hits the listener like a sledgehammer in typical Heldmaschine style. If the Neue Deutsche Härte band is known for its hardness and direct lyrics, nobody will be disappointed with the new material. Meine Welt, Schlag mich and Raus are just the grandiose beginning of an album that has a total of thirteen tracks. Even though Heldmaschine are still active as the Rammstein cover band, Völkerball, and pay tribute to the big R here, and the style of Heldmaschine also follows Neue Deutsche Härte, the eternal comparisons should not be chewed over again and again here. Heldmaschine is Heldmaschine. That's it!
What the gentlemen present in 2025 is once again worth listening to and certainly worth seeing live. Once again, they go straight to the point. Wonderful original interpretations with a lot of heart and mind make their way from the ear into the heart and brain. Whether with brute force or with a lot of emotion, as in “Nur ein Lächeln”, there is always a little story or message in the lyrics. Among other things, they pick up on themes such as “Ich bin ein Star” (Get me out of here) and show once again how you can make money with whatever. You just have to make sure you get enough ratings. Whatever. In the meantime, “almost” everything is allowed anyway. So the Heldmaschine once again exposes the “stupidity” of people and holds a musical mirror up to the listener's face. Sometimes you go through the wall hand in hand with the other person's head. Or you mutate into a web terrorist and show how beautiful it is in the world of the WWW.
To sum up the new album, you shouldn't always take everything so seriously and just enjoy the fun, even if it's at the expense of others. The album itself is a lot of fun and not too often shows the mischievous grin of the Heldmaschine. Neue Deutsche Härte that, as always, delights and invites you to celebrate. So don't worry, the listener can be sure that if it says Heldmaschine on it, it's Heldmaschine inside. And that's a damn good thing.
