DISARMONIA MUNDI, Disharmonie der Welt, ein Name, der im Laufe der Jahre ein Synonym für melodischen Death Metal geworden ist, mit mehr als 30 Millionen Streams allein auf Spotify, und einem Vermächtnis, das sich trotz jahrelanger Stille und oder dem Fehlen jeglicher Live-Aktivitäten gedeihen konnte. Gegründet von dem visionären Musiker Ettore Rigotti im Jahr 2000 und bekannt für ihre komplexen Kompositionen, ihren kraftvollen Gesang und ihre dynamischen Performance hat sich die Band weltweit eine treue Anhängerschaft erspielt.
Seit ihrer Gründung haben DISARMONIA MUNDI fünf von der Kritik hochgelobte Alben veröffentlicht, darunter 'Nebularium' (2001), 'Fragments of D-Generation' (2004), „Mind Tricks“ (2006), „The Isolation Game“ (2009) und „Cold Inferno“ (2015).

Denn 2025 melden sich Disarmonia Mundi, verdammt eindrucksvoll zurück. Dies tun sie mit ihrem neuen Studiowerk unter dem Namen, The Dormant Stranger.
Wie nicht anders zu erwarten, geht es auch auf dem neuen Werk verdammt heftig zur Sache. Nach gut zehn Jahren der Stille wird es nun endlich wieder Hart, Laut, verdammt Schnell und unverzichtbar für Fans des Genres und der Band. Waren die Herren selbst zwar über die Jahre nicht etwa Tatenlos, ganz im Gegenteil, man arbeitet fleißig im eigenen Label oder in den gegründeten Nebenprojekten, so kam die Band selbst aber beinah zum Stillstand. Dieser Fand im vergangenen Jahr dann mit der ersten Single, Oathbreaker, ein lang erwartetes Ende, welches nun endlich im vorliegenden sechsten Studiowerk endete. Elf wahre Nackenbrecher erwarten den Hörer und werten Fan. Und diese elf Nummern haben es verdammt noch mal in sich. Harte treibende Riffs, Rasiermesserschafe Gitarren, treibende Tiefton und Drum Rhythmen treiben das Album genauso voran wie der unverwechselbare Gesang, der erneut durch Gastauftritte eines bestens gelaunten Björn Strid (Soilwork) unterstützt wird. So macht Melodic Death Metal nicht nur Spaß.

Founded by visionary musician Ettore Rigotti in 2000 and known for their complex compositions, powerful vocals and dynamic performances, the band has gained a loyal following worldwide.
Since their formation, DISARMONIA MUNDI have released five critically acclaimed albums, including 'Nebularium' (2001), 'Fragments of D-Generation' (2004), “Mind Tricks” (2006), “The Isolation Game” (2009) and “Cold Inferno” (2015).

Because in 2025, Disarmonia Mundi are making a damn impressive comeback. They do so with their new studio work under the name, The Dormant Stranger.
As you would expect, the new work is also pretty damn heavy. After a good ten years of silence, it finally gets hard, loud, damn fast and indispensable for fans of the genre and the band. Although the gentlemen themselves have not been inactive over the years, on the contrary, they have been working diligently on their own label or in the side projects they have founded, the band itself almost came to a standstill. This came to a long-awaited end last year with the first single, Oathbreaker, which has now finally culminated in this sixth studio album. Eleven true neckbreakers await the listener and valued fan. And these eleven numbers have it all. Hard driving riffs, razor-sheep guitars, driving bass and drum rhythms drive the album forward just as much as the unmistakable vocals, which are once again supported by guest appearances by a very good-humored Björn Strid (Soilwork). Melodic death metal is not just fun.
We give it ten out of ten possible points and ask you not to let another ten years pass before there is new material of this caliber.
