Aus Leipzig stammt eine Band Namens, Leave, die sich auf die Fahne geschrieben hat ihren Modern Heavy Metal unter das Volk zu bringen. Arbeitet man bisher mehr oder weniger im Untergrund, so startet der Vierer nun mit dem großen Schritt in die Öffentlichkeit und präsentiert unter dem Label, Out of Line, das von Fans bereits länger erwartete Debüt Album. The Cost Of Compromise, ist eine Mischung aus atmosphärischem Post-Hardcore, melancholischem Alt-Rock und Emo-Grit. So präsentieren die vier Herren ihren völlig eigenen Style und greifen Textlich schwerwiegende Themen, wie den stillen Tragödien und heftigen Breakdowns des täglichen Lebens. Ein wie wir finden nicht gerade leichter Weg, den die Jungs da einschlagen. Aber sie meistern es sehr überzeugend und servieren mit ihrem Erstlingswerk somit dieses Album, welches schon ein wahrlich kühnes und emotionales Statement hinterlässt. Hier darf man gespannt sein wo der Weg noch hinführen mag. Lassen wir uns überraschen und genießen solange das gerade erschienene Debüt. The Cost Of Compromise macht mit seinen elf Songs, und hier allem voran, die Nummern, „Longing To Believe“ (mit Michael McGough von Being As An Ocean), „I Just Feel Worse“ und „Pull The Tooth“ verdammt viel Spaß. Jeder Song ist für sich ein musikalischer Moment der Wahrheit und stellt die Weichen der Band ganz klar Angriff, was in diesem Fall nur Vorwärts heißen kann.
Wir wünschen den Herren, die auch bereits ihr Können auf der Bühne, hier unter anderem beim Mosh City Berlin und Summer Breeze Open Air, unter Beweis stellen konnten, viel Glück und den erhofften Erfolg.

From Leipzig comes a band called Leave, who have made it their mission to bring their modern heavy metal to the people. Having worked more or less underground up to now, the four-piece is now taking the big step into the public eye and presenting their long-awaited debut album under the label Out of Line. The Cost Of Compromise is a mixture of atmospheric post-hardcore, melancholic alt-rock and emo grit. The four gentlemen present their very own style and lyrically tackle serious topics such as the quiet tragedies and violent breakdowns of everyday life. It's not exactly an easy path that the guys are taking. But they master it very convincingly and serve up this album with their debut work, which makes a truly bold and emotional statement. It will be interesting to see where the road will lead. Let us be surprised and enjoy the recently released debut. The Cost Of Compromise is a lot of fun with its eleven songs, especially the numbers “Longing To Believe” (with Michael McGough from Being As An Ocean), “I Just Feel Worse” and “Pull The Tooth”. Each song is a musical moment of truth in itself and clearly sets the band's course for attack, which in this case can only mean forward.
We wish the gentlemen, who have already demonstrated their skills on stage at Mosh City Berlin and Summer Breeze Open Air, among others, the best of luck and the hoped-for success.
