Die fantastischen Superhelden Namens, Grailknights, sind zurück. Zurück mit ihrem nunmehr siebenten Abenteuer (Album) seit ihrer Gründung im Jahr 2002. Seither führen die fünf „Helden“ einen unerbittlichen Kampf gegen ihren Erzfeind, Dr. Skull, der nichts böseres im Schilde führt als die Herrschaft über die Welt an sich zu reißen und alles Gute und Schöne zu zerstören und Chaos und Dunkelheit zu verbreiten. Damit soll nun endgültig Schluss gemacht werden. Für immer! So entstand das neue Studiowerk auch unter dem alles sagenden Namen, Forever. So lasst uns nun also die Grailknights ein hoffentlich letztes Mal beim Kampf gegen Dr. Skull begleiten. In zwölf Nigel Nagel neuen Powermetal Hymnen führt das neue Werk durch Schlachten rund um den Globus. So dürfen die Fans und Hörer unter anderem in die heiligen Hallen der Knights eintreten und sie beim nötigen Training im Hauseigenen Gym beobachten. Man reißt über Japan zu den berühmten Ninja Kriegern und hin in die eisigen Landschaften eines winterlichen Frankreichs. Begibt sich im Kampf sogar in schwindelerregende Höhen der Lüfte, alles nur zum Zweck, Dr. Skull endgültig zu verbannen und wegzuschließen. Eben für immer und Forever. Nachdem die Aufgabe dann endlich erledigt und der Böse Gegner verband ist, gönnt man sich zu guter Letzt noch einen kurzen Urlaub im „vergangenen“ Schweden und genießt noch ein paar erholsame Stunden im Kreis der unverwüstlichen ABBA. Aufgetankt mit neuer Kraft, geht es dann auch schon hinaus in die Welt um den Fans die neue Geschichten rund um die nun vergangenen Reise und dem endgültigen Kampf live von den Bühnen herab zu erzählen.
Liebe Freunde, Leser und Hörer, ihr seht also, bei Grailknights hat sich nicht viel geändert. Noch immer erzählen sie fantastische Geschichten. Noch immer präsentieren sie selbige im gewohnt fantastischen Sound of Powermetal. Und noch immer darf man die Knights nicht so ernst nehmen. Sie wollen einfach nur „Spielen“ und euch mit ihrer Musik beglücken. Dies gelingt ihnen auch mit den neuen zwölf Songs, die alles in allem eine coole Ansammlung von rockenden Powermetal Hymnen darstellen. Wer die Grailknights mag, der wird auch mit dem siebenten Album voll auf seine Kosten kommen. Uns gefällt auf alle Fälle was wir zu hören bekommen haben, was dazu führt, das wir die volle Punktzahl vergeben.
Man darf gespannt sein wohin der Weg der Helden nun gehen wird, nachdem ihr Erzfeind ja nun besiegt und hoffentlich für immer fort bleibt. Auf alle Fälle sind sie gerade noch zusammen mit All for Metal auf tour und haben erst gestern unsere Stadt besucht, wo sie ebenfalls überzeugen konnten.

The fantastic superheroes known as Grailknights are back. Back with their seventh adventure (album) since their founding in 2002. Since then, the five “heroes” have been fighting a relentless battle against their arch-enemy, Dr. Skull, who has nothing more evil in mind than to seize control of the world, destroy everything good and beautiful, and spread chaos and darkness. Now it's time to put an end to this once and for all. Forever! This is how the new studio album came about, with the telling title Forever. So let's accompany the Grailknights in what will hopefully be their final battle against Dr. Skull. In twelve Nigel Nagel new power metal anthems, the new work takes us through battles around the globe. Among other things, fans and listeners are allowed to enter the sacred halls of the Knights and watch them train in their own gym. They travel across Japan to the famous ninja warriors and on to the icy landscapes of wintery France. They even venture into the dizzying heights of the skies in battle, all for the sole purpose of banishing Dr. Skull once and for all and locking him away. Forever and ever. Once the task is finally accomplished and the evil enemy is defeated, they treat themselves to a short vacation in “ancient” Sweden and enjoy a few relaxing hours in the company of the indestructible ABBA. Recharged with new energy, they then set out into the world to tell their fans new stories about their journey and the final battle live from the stage.
Dear friends, readers, and listeners, as you can see, not much has changed with Grailknights. They still tell fantastic stories. They still present them in their usual fantastic sound of power metal. And you still shouldn't take the Knights too seriously. They just want to “play” and make you happy with their music. They succeed in doing so with the twelve new songs, which all in all represent a cool collection of rocking power metal anthems. Anyone who likes Grailknights will also get their money's worth with the seventh album. In any case, we like what we've heard, which leads us to award full marks.
It will be interesting to see where the heroes' journey will take them now that their arch-enemy has been defeated and will hopefully remain gone forever. In any case, they are currently on tour with All for Metal and visited our city just yesterday, where they also put on a convincing performance.
