Bitte stellen sie ihre Sitze in aufrechte Stellung und schnallen sie sich richt an. Bringen sie ihre Haare in Ordnung und lockern die Nackenmuskulatur. Schnallen sie die luftgitarre um und halten sie sich bereit. 3, 2, 1…. Und ab geht der Ritt auf dem Midnight Blitz von Tailgunner.
2022 gegründet, orientiert sich das britische Quintett auch auf seinem zweiten Album stark am klassischen Heavy Metal. Ebenso wie einst ihre Einflüsse hat die junge Band den Blick fest nach vorne gewandt. Dabei entwickeln sie ihren Sound ohne jeden Kompromiss stetig fort – Heavy Metal in Reinform! Innerhalb kürzester Zeit haben sich TAILGUNNER so die Unterstützung ihrer Helden gesichert: Nachdem sie als Vorgruppe von KK’s Priest einen bleibenden Eindruck hinterließen, übernahm der legendäre Gitarrist K. K. Downing die Produktion des kommenden Albums Midnight Blitz – eine seltene Ehre.
Und all diese Einflüsse und Ereignisse sind nun in Form des gerade genannten zweiten Albums sehr real spürbar. Der Spirit des Real Heavy Metal ist in jedem einzelnen der zehn Songs zu spüren. Founded in 2022, the British quintet's second album is also heavily influenced by classic heavy metal. Just like their influences, the young band has its sights set firmly on the future. They are constantly developing their sound without compromise – heavy metal in its purest form! Within a very short time, TAILGUNNER secured the support of their heroes: after making a lasting impression as the opening act for KK's Priest, legendary guitarist K. K. Downing took over the production of their upcoming album Midnight Blitz – a rare honor.
And all these influences and events are now very real in the form of the second album just mentioned. The spirit of real heavy metal can be felt in each of the ten songs. Driving riffs, crystal-clear guitars, booming drums, and demanding bass lines invite you to headbang and celebrate. Tailgunner are pure heavy metal.
