Frontmann Paul Aloisio und Bassist Marc Morello lernten sich bereits im Sommer vor dem Kindergarten kennen und entdeckten gemeinsam die Welt der Musik. Beeinflusst von Größen wie BLACK SABBATH, TYPE O NEGATIVE und THE SWORD, nahmen RESTLESS SPIRIT offiziell im Jahr 2019 ihre Arbeit auf. Nun im Jahr 2026 wurde gerade das vierte Studiowerk, einer Band veröffentlicht, die sich auf die Fahne geschrieben hat, dass keines ihrer Alben gleich klingen und dennoch einzig und allein dem wahren Metal folgen soll. Nun, was man bisher erreicht hat, sind vier tatsächlich unterschiedliche Alben, die dennoch alle ihrem Vorbild folgen. Dabei feiert das Trio nicht nur an der Ostküste der USA kleine Erfolge, sondern setzt sich mittlerweile über die Grenzen hinweg. Ihre Mischung aus klassischem Metal, Desert und stoner rock macht ihren einzigartigen Style aus, der auf dem neuen Werk nun noch einmal verfeinert wurde. Wer nun also auf Metal und Experimente steht, sollte hier ruhig ein Ohr riskieren. Die insgesamt Acht Songs des neuen Albums haben einiges zu erzählen und zeigen alle Stärken der Band.

Frontman Paul Aloisio and bassist Marc Morello first met the summer before kindergarten and discovered the world of music together. Influenced by giants such as Black Sabbath, Type O Negative, and The Sword, Restless Spirit officially began their work in 2019. Now, in 2026, the fourth studio album has just been released by a band dedicated to the principle that no two of their albums should ever sound alike—yet all must remain true, first and foremost, to the spirit of true metal. And indeed, what they have achieved so far are four distinct albums that nevertheless all remain faithful to their musical ideals. In doing so, the trio is not only enjoying modest success along the U.S. East Coast but is now also making waves beyond national borders. Their blend of classic metal, desert rock, and stoner rock defines their unique style—a style that has been further refined on this new release. So, for anyone with a taste for metal and musical experimentation, this album is certainly worth a listen. The new album’s eight tracks have plenty to say and showcase all of the band’s strengths.
