Combichrist ist zurück. Nach zehn Studio und zwei Livealben, melden sich die Industrial-Metal-Ikonen eindrucksvoll mit ihrem bislang umfangreichsten Album mit Namen, „The Venom In The Mouth Of God“, zurück. Insgesamt dreizehn neue Nummern, die sich das Thema, des Abstiegs in die Kluft zwischen dem, wer wir sind, und dem, als wer wir uns nach außen hin inszenieren, beschäftigen. Combichrist konzentrieren sich auf ihrem aktuellen Album voll auf ihre Stärken und servieren dem Fan und Hörer eine Mischung aus tiefgründigen harten Industrial und EBM-Nummern, die sich perfekt mit kraftvollen Metal Klängen vermischen. Das Album ist überlegt in drei Szenarien unterteilt und beginnt mit der kontrollierten Zerstörung mit Songs von „ODR“, „Desolation“, The Future is a Memory bis hin zu „Born Deströyer“. Anschließend wandelt und weitet sich die Stimmung. „Each Scar A Vision“ und „The Way We Want To Be Seen“ schlagen leisere, introspektive Töne an und sezieren die Masken, die Menschen sich bauen, sowie die kuratierten Identitäten, die sie zur Schau stellen. Das Finale Kapitel endet schließlich in kraftstrotzenden und harten Songs, wie zum Beispiel dem mit der Nu-Metal Formation, King 810 aus Michigan, eingespielten Nummer, „Demons Wanna Be Summoned“. Neben dieser bereits im Vorfeld präsentierten Auskopplung enthält, „The Venom In The Mouth Of God“, die Vorabsingles, „Desolation“, „RISE“ und „Feraline“, und präsentiert Combichrist irgendwie noch düsterer und härter als man sie eh seit Jahrzehnten kennt. Ein Muss für Fans und Liebhaber des düsteren EBM Industrial Sounds. Herzlich Willkommen in der Wirklichkeit, in der die Masken brechen und zu fallen beginnen.

Combichrist is back. After ten studio albums and two live releases, the industrial metal icons make an impressive return with their most expansive album to date: *The Venom In The Mouth Of God*. It features thirteen new tracks exploring the descent into the chasm between who we truly are and the personas we project to the outside world. On this album, Combichrist plays fully to their strengths, serving up a blend of profound, hard-hitting industrial and EBM tracks that fuse seamlessly with powerful metal sounds. The album is thoughtfully divided into three scenarios, beginning with controlled destruction in songs ranging from "ODR," "Desolation," and "The Future is a Memory" to "Born Deströyer." The mood then shifts and expands; "Each Scar A Vision" and "The Way We Want To Be Seen" strike a quieter, introspective chord, dissecting the masks people construct and the curated identities they put on display. Finally, the concluding chapter delivers high-octane, heavy tracks—such as "Demons Wanna Be Summoned," recorded with the Michigan-based nu-metal band King 810.
