Der Sünder sagt 40 Jahre sind genug und verabschiedet die Band, die er bereits 1980 gründete und die ihren Siegeszug zwei Jahre später starteten. In den darauffolgenden vierundvierzig Jahren veröffentlichte die Band um Gründer, Mat Sinner, insgesamt zwanzig Studioalben und ein Livealbum. Hierbei konnte das nun vorletzte Album, Brotherhood, mit dem zwölften Platz der deutschen Albumcharts als höchste Plazierung der gesamten Bandgeschichte belegen.
Mit dem nun veröffentlichen Album, Boom Bang Goodbye, verabschiedet Mat Sinner nun dieses musikalische Kapitel seines Schaffens endgültig in den Ruhestand.
Dies tut er natürlich nicht ohne den dazugehörigen Knall. So lud er zahlreiche Kollegen und Musiker um aus diesem, letzten, Album etwas ganz Besonderes zu machen. Neben Mathias Dieth bekommen SINNER auf dem Langspieler Unterstützung von Sänger Renan Zonta, Björn Strid (The Night Flight Orchestra, Soilwork), Drummer Moritz Müller (The Intersphere), Gitarrist Alex Scholpp, Ronnie Romero (v.), Gitarrist Jim Müller (Kissin' Dynamite), Keyboarderin Lisa Müller u.a.
Magnus Karlsson (PRIMAL FEAR), Michael Bormann, Michael Sadler (SAGA), Erik Mårtensson (ECLIPSE) sind weitere Gäste auf diesem elf Track starken Abschiedsalbum, welches noch einmal die Klasse dieses Ausnahmeprojektes aufzeigt. Klassischer Hard Rock und Heavy Metal in Reinkultur.
Abschiede tun fast immer weh, aber wenn es dann schon sein muss, dann doch bitte schön auf eine solch exzellente Art und Weise. Alle auf dem Album vertretenen Musiker und Künstler geben ihr Bestes und präsentieren sich in Bestform. Ein album, welches einen ganz besonderen Stellenwert in der Geschichte dieser Band einnehmen wird. Hier wird gerockt und gezockt, was die Instrumente hergeben. Es fehlt weder an Härte noch an Gefühl. Und so beginnt das Ende und führt noch einmal durch die Bandgeschichte.
Mat Sinner bleibt den Fans aber natürlich weiterhin treu und arbeitet fleißig mit seiner Band Primal Fear an neuem Material.
Manchmal muss man Dinge beenden, um andere weiterführen zu können. Und somit heißt es nun Goodbye Sinner, aber mit einem Bang & Boom.

Sinner says "40 years are enough" and bids farewell to the band he founded back in 1980—a group that began its triumphant run two years later. Over the ensuing forty-four years, the band led by founder Mat Sinner released a total of twenty studio albums and one live album. Notably, their penultimate release, *Brotherhood*, achieved the highest chart position in the band's history, reaching number twelve on the German album charts.
With the newly released album *Boom Bang Goodbye*, Mat Sinner is finally retiring this chapter of his musical career.
Naturally, he isn't doing so without a bang; he invited numerous colleagues and fellow musicians to help make this final album something truly special. In addition to Mathias Dieth, the band receives support on the record from vocalist Renan Zonta, Björn Strid (The Night Flight Orchestra, Soilwork), drummer Moritz Müller (The Intersphere), guitarist Alex Scholpp, vocalist Ronnie Romero, guitarist Jim Müller (Kissin' Dynamite), keyboardist Lisa Müller, and others.
Magnus Karlsson (Primal Fear), Michael Bormann, Michael Sadler (Saga), and Erik Mårtensson (Eclipse) also appear as guests on this eleven-track farewell album, which once again showcases the caliber of this exceptional project. It is classic hard rock and heavy metal in its purest form.
Farewells are almost always painful, but if one must happen, let it be done in such an excellent manner. All the musicians and artists featured on the album give their all and are in top form. It is an album destined to hold a very special place in the band's history. The music rocks hard, pushing their instruments to the limit; there is no shortage of either heaviness or emotion. And so, the end begins, taking the listener on a final journey through the band's history.
Of course, Mat Sinner remains loyal to his fans and is hard at work on new material with his band, Primal Fear. Sometimes you have to bring things to an end to be able to carry others forward. And so, it’s time to say goodbye to Sinner—but with a bang.
